About Peter
MBA, CPCU, CRM, CIC, LIA
Co-founder and CEO of Wunderite, Peter MacDonald is an insurance professional to his core. As a highly versed and knowledgeable speaker, he is passionate about helping agents achieve their goals and objectives, while sparking new thoughts and ideas for processes and procedures within their agencies. One of Peter’s great joys is having conversations and interacting with insurance professionals all over the country.
An accomplished business leader in the insurance industry, Peter worked at a family insurance agency and gained valuable experience selling most types of insurance. He earned industry licenses and credentials including CPCU, CRM, CIC, LIA. Peter was proud to represent independent agents to lawmakers in Washington, DC with the IIABA, and built and implemented technology for the agency. He leverages his extensive knowledge and expertise in the industry to help create Wunderite, a digital form solution that makes PDFs, applications, and the supplementals process easy for producers.
Peter loves sharing his experiences through conferences, podcasts, and webinars and has quite a number under his belt. With years of hands-on experience leading and creating opportunities to help agents, he has a great pulse on the insurance industry. This allows him to deliver thoughts and ideas to agency owners and staff with clear and actionable next steps. His competency lies in his ability to listen to his audience attentively and intuitively understand their needs, his discipline in meeting timelines, and his concise way of articulating his thoughts.
Peter holds an MBA with distinction from Boston College as a Dean’s Scholar and a BS in Mathematics Cum Laude from Wheaton (IL). A proud family man, Peter lives in Massachusetts with his wife and three kids. He is a former traveler and recent drone enthusiast who likes to be outdoors.
