📢 PRESS RELEASE: CPA Firm Issues SOC 2 – Type 2 Report for Wunderite

BOURNE, MASSACHUSETTS — July 11, 2025 — Wunderite, a cloud-based SaaS platform that streamlines insurance workflows and digitizes risk submissions for agents and their clients, today announced that it has successfully completed its System and Organization Controls (SOC) 2 Type 2 examination—for the second consecutive year.

The SOC 2 report, based on the Security criteria established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), evaluates a service organization’s internal controls related to security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy. Wunderite’s examination was conducted by Dansa D’Arata Soucia LLP (DDS), a nationally recognized CPA firm specializing in SOC reporting.

By completing this rigorous audit, Wunderite demonstrates continued adherence to one of the industry’s most stringent and widely accepted compliance frameworks. The independent auditor’s report confirms that Wunderite’s business processes, IT systems, and risk management controls are designed effectively and operating as intended.

The audit covered Wunderite’s internal controls, policies, and processes related to:

  • Facilitating collaboration between insurance agents and the insured

  • Digital forms, submission packages, and legally binding e-signatures

  • Risk management and vendor due diligence (subservice providers)

  • Wunderite’s entire IT infrastructure, including:

    • Software development lifecycle

    • Change management

    • Logical, network, and physical security

    • Computer operations and environmental controls

“We’re pleased that our SOC 2 report validates the controls we’ve built to protect the services we provide to our customers,” said Rick Schmidt, Chief Technology Officer at Wunderite. “For the second year in a row, we’ve received a clean report with no exceptions — a reflection of the rigor and discipline we apply across our operations. Our platform plays a critical role in helping agents and brokers securely collect, manage, and transmit sensitive insurance data. Completing the SOC 2 Type 2 audit demonstrates our deep commitment to protecting that data and ensuring the reliability and security of the systems our clients depend on every day. It’s a reflection of our company’s value of excellence in action.”
